OrangeScape Developer Community

A community for Application Developers on OrangeScape's Platform-as-a-Service

Previously you had to give your theme changes to us, and had to wait till it was uploaded.  Now you don't have to wait anymore.  Now theming is part of the application workspace.

On the Left side menu in application workspace Click on Themes to get to the Theme upload page.
Click on the blue plus icon near Create Theme to create a new theme entry.
Give a Name for your theme and then click on the Blue Right Arrow.
In the URL field mention the url to access your theme zip file.
Then click on Save and then on Apply Theme to apply the theme to your application.

Now you will have to deploy again for you theme changes to take effect.

You can have any number of themes, and can change them without any delay.  The default template files can be found here.. [Check below for Default Theme Files]

This Folder Structure has to be maintained inside the zip file.

     |     |-css
     |     |-images

Put your HTML files inside the templates folder and the supporting style sheets and images in their correspinding folders inside the static folder.

Zip the files in this structure, upload it to your ftp or some other place and give the URL to use it in Studio.

Only Application Owner can access Themes Menu.
If you have not enabled authentication the login page will be login.html
if you have enabled authentication, the login page will be openid_login.html

Hi Anbarasan,

This app was not assigned a logo when it was first deployed, so subsequently the NoLogo image display.

I am trying to upload a new logo for the application, I renamed the nologo image in the images folder and uploaded a new image called nologo.gif, zipped the file and stored on our site. I copied the uploaded zipped file's url, created a new theme and added the URL address. When I attempt to deploy, the following msg: "Deployment failed:The theme file you trying to attach is corrupted, please check".

Please advise how to load a new logo file once the app has been deployed.

Thank you, Marie

Hi Anbarasan,

I created a new style sheet. uploaded it to the CSS folder in the gae-runtime file from the latest release and zipped and uploaded the file per your instructions above.

I saved and applied the theme, then refreshed the studio. I do not see the new styles when I click Cell Styles in Form view. Also tried to redeploy the app, but this had no impact.

Am I missing something?

Thank you, Marie

Inder,  always upload those files which are changed.  Don't unnecessarily include other files.

I like to add some image files into my default/existing theme. So, can i add only those new image files or all files related to theme.
